My name is Grzegorz Piatkowski
Since 2007, I have been supporting local and global clients with English-Polish language interpretation and translation services.
I've provided my services to academic institutions (including London School of Economics, University of Wroclaw, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Wroclaw Medical University and Wroclaw University of Economics and Business) corporate clients (including Nokia, Toyota, Whirlpool, CCC, BASF, Archicom, KGHM, PPC Rokita or Onet Group), local authorities (Lower Silesian Voivodship Office and Marshal's Office, City Councils of Wroclaw and Wałbrzych) as well as cultural institutions (including BWA, Nowe Horyzonty Association, Museum of Architecture in Wrocław and National Museum in Wrocław).
I've provided my interpreting services during the largest domestic and regional economic conferences (including the European Economic Congress, Energy Congress and Congress of Regions) as well as artistic events (including the European Capital of Culture, Theater Olympics, American Film Festival, Docs Against Gravity, Stage Songs Review).
I regularly support clients with technical translations during audits, commissioning of new assembly lines and machine maintenance by international suppliers.
I mostly translate legal, business and technical texts. I've also translated more than a dozen books (fiction and scientific publications).
Since 2013, I have been teaching full-time, part-time and postgraduate courses in interpreting, translation and specialized language at the Higher School of Philological Education, the Wrocław School of Banking, the University of Opole and (as a guest lecturer) at the University of Wrocław. I thoroughly enjoy sharing the knowledge I have acquired, and contact with students provides a great break from the booth and computer screen.
