  2. Why is there no price list on the website?

    Every translation (and particularly interpreting) is subject to individual pricing, which depends on many factors. The valuation of the translation/interpretation, carried out before the order, is always free of charge and without obligation.

  3. How much does translation cost?

    The cost of translation depends on three factors. First, text volume. The basic unit for pricing is the billing page, i.e. 1800 characters with spaces of the original document. The second factor is the level of complexity - more specialized texts will be more expensive than general ones. Finally, formatting of the text - non-editable formats (e.g., pdf) may be priced more expensive if additional work is required to format the text.

  4. How long will I wait for the translated text?

    The basic mode of translation involves 8 billing pages per day. Urgent orders mean a translation rate of up to 16 billing pages per day. In order to maintain consistency and uniform vocabulary, each document is entirely translated by a single person.

  5. How much does interpreting cost?

    The minimum billing unit is 4h (interpreting block). This is due to the fact that even in the case of shorter assignments, the interpreter has to properly prepare for it, as well as get to the venue. This also takes into account the additional time spent on substantive and linguistic preparation for the assignment. On the other hand, you are not charged extra costs if the event is extended (within a given 4h block).

  6. What information do I need for interpretation quote?

    Provide information about language combination, mode of interpreting, (consecutive, simultaneous, liaison), venue, date and expected duration of the event, as well as the topic of the meeting and availability of preparation materials. In the case of out-of-town assignments, it is welcome to include information on whether the interpreter is provided with accommodation, transportation, food.

  7. Why should there be two interpreters in the booth?

    Simultaneous interpreting requires not only advanced language proficiency, but also extraordinary focus and reflexes.The human brain is unable to withstand the strain of such great effort for long periods of time, so a regularly rotating pair of interpreters helps maintain quality of service even during long events.
