Legal translation requires special attention and precision, but also adequate knowledge and skills due to the specific terminology, complex sentences and (in the case of English-language texts) vocabulary not found in any other context.
Legal translation also has to be faithful and extremely accurate, as in even the shortest word or comma can make a difference. It's worth remembering that not all legal texts require authentication by a sworn translator.
Legal translation from and into English may include, but is not limited to:
- contracts
- reports
- internal company regulations
- official company documents
